The council gave the green light to 21 applications totaling $75,004 in the latest round of funding. Among the events set to receive support are Let’s Surf Lake Mac at Redhead Beach, the Youth Surfing National Battle at Caves and Hams Beach, the Lake Macquarie Max Adventure Race at Cam’s Wharf, Wangi New Year’s Eve fireworks, Lake Mac Run 2025, and the Italian Festival Lago Di Mac.
